Elizabeth knows Bernie; they've been ideologically very close for a long time and she has worked with him in the Senate. She knows and respects Bernie.
As an open, honest public official with nothing to hide who has won elections since the 1980s, Bernie is probably better vetted than Hillary, due to Hillary's famous secrecy.
Bernie is not a Marxist and not a Communist. As a believer in the democratic rights of ALL people, of course Bernie championed the people's struggles in Nicaragua rather then Reagan's favorites, the Contras.
Bernie did not "honeymoon" in the Soviet Union. That is a dirty rightwing lie. Burlington Vermont's sister city is a city in Russia, and Bernie, as mayor of Burlington, visited it. That's what sister cities do.
Bernie is a remarkably "clean" candidate and his record of achievement as mayor, congressman and senator is impressive.
I seriously object to your making up stories about Elizabeth Warren. She is way too smart to fall for the Hill campaign canard that support for Bernie is support for Trump, and I don't think she would appreciate your putting those words in her mouth. Both Bernie and Elizabeth are against Trump. Anti-Trump is a big part of Bernie rallies, and his cheering supporters always join Bernie in booing Trump.
Elizabeth Warren is wise to avoid making a candidate endorsement until after we have a nominee. She will endorse the Democratic nominee. She probably could not survive Hillary's vindictive wrath if she endorsed Bernie, and it is doubtful she would endorse the Wall Street candidate, given her antipathy for Wall Street.
I find your subject line of "Let's agree to disagree," followed by a lengthy pro-Hillary campaign screed replete with egregious falsehoods about Bernie, somewhat sneaky and less than honest, kstewart33. Yes, you certainly are a Hill supporter.
