eta: as specified by the OP, not condoning this action.

In Florida one is not able to change party affiliation online. The procedure is to print out the registration form, indicate the change, and submit it to the Supervisor of Elections. Maybe I am mistaken, but I have looked into how to change party affiliation and all government sites lead to the same process.

To be clear though, if you haven't yet voted in your primary then sign up for the emails and join afterwards if feeling so inclined.
