Bernie's campaign could not be considered to be quixotic until April 26. Before then you could argue he had a chance. Since that date, he has had no chance to win, hence the use of the word quixotic to describe his campaign. He has lost and everybody can see that except the hardcore Bernie supporters. Perhaps they will see light on Tuesday once the media officially declares Hillary the winner and pressure mounts on Bernie to concede.
