Even if they manage to stop 100% of the guns before they reach the convention floor, the hotels and surrounding businesses won't be as secure. And brawls could happen anywhere at any time, given the heights of rheyorical insanity this year.

I wouldn't wish these things on the GOP, much less any bystanders or media observers.
