Elizabeth Warren trusts Clinton on TPP

When it comes to the TPP, in Hillary she trusts.

Senator Elizabeth Warren — a longtime opponent of the Trans-Pacific Partnership — said she believes Hillary Clinton’s opposition to the trade deal is rock solid.

Although Republicans in Congress are pushing for it, Donald Trump calls it “a horrible deal.” As secretary of state, Clinton called it “the gold standard.” Now, she’s against it, but not enough to satisfy purists on the left.

A heckler yelled out “No TPP!” during President Obama’s speech to convention delegates on Wednesday night and Hillary Clinton might hear it too. Warren said she has no problem with protesters expressing their view. It’s democracy, she said.
