7. What drives me nuts is people need to be made "enthusiastic" to go vote

Have we really become so apathetic that we can't simply look at a situation and determine that it's important enough to go vote? Are we all that blah and unconcerned that we "need" to be made excited and enthusiastic? I hate that and the constant analysis of demographic enthusiasm. I can't tell you how many elections I've voted in and very few have I been excited and enthusiastic about the candidate. I'd say I'm driven to vote more out of dread and fear than because a candidate makes me excited. I could care less if they are as boring as a post - if the candidate mostly aligns with my views, I'll go vote for them. Especially if the alternative is something Trump like, I'll go out and vote.
