Trump has trouble with words sometimes. If you read his words with the idea of his first phrase in mind. It's like saying that you never even knew your wife.

He starts by saying,

***, I don’t know anything about David Duke***

Then says,

*** I don’t know any — honestly, I don’t know David Duke.*** see how he might mean "about"?

// This fact check proves that wrong. He very much knew "about" him
