2016 Postmortem
Showing Original Post only (View all)Romney: "I didn't say that" is a thing of great beauty. [View all]
Huffington Post has a pretty funny report of Romney denying what we all saw him say:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/29/mitt-romney-47_n_3670600.html
Here is the beauty of Romney's response:
1) It shows that he is still bothered by the result
2) He knows that when that recording got out he had zero chance of winning
3) Deep in his little tiny heart he knows that he "screwed the pooch" all by his little self.
So if you are having a bad day just remember
1, 2 and 3 above.

Some of the best lines from that election. Hubby has a nephew--who never served--

I find a prophecy that the person he hacked the hair off went on in life to ride the white horse.

But Mitt Romney is in a league of lying that is even too much for a politician.
