HRC was a junior Senator, whose personal life, made her more important than the roles that she actually played in the Senate, a body that LIVES on seniority, which she did not have. It is not really easy to make the case that she was an exemplary Senator. There is some truth that that position was intended to be a stepping stone to the Presidency in 2008.

Warren has led more in her short time there than HRC did when she was there --- and Bernie was the person behind the community health centers in ACA - one of the best features of that bill. He was also the lead sponsor on the VA bill that passed recently.
