she falters. I would be happy with any of Clinton, Sanders, O'Malley, Biden, or Gore as president. But the key words are "as president."

Right now, the only declared candidate with any real chance of becoming president is Clinton. Sanders would get crushed in the GE, and O'Malley is polling within zero of the margin of error. I actually agree that the DNC is probably floating trial balloons, and that's probably a smart thing to do. Either Biden or Gore would make for a strong backup in case Hillary falters somewhere down the road.

Personally, I think Gore would be better than Biden. I like Biden but don't think he would make for a great top of the ticket. But Gore could win.
