You seem to be arguing about something that isn't an issue. She recognized what now milliions of people recognize about Sanders, that he is one of the smartest voices out there right now. That's the reason he is resonating with so many people, across the political landscape. NOT just with Democrats, but with all kinds of people.

Hillary resonates ONLY with a % of the loyal, Democratic base. Right now tht makes up only about 32% of the electorate, down from by 10% of where it was several years ago. And of that demographic, Sanders has already captured approx 30%.

What that means is that Hillary at this point is resonating with only a very small % of the electorate, while Sanders is gathering support from all across the political landscape.

I'm sure Whoopi, smart woman that she is, knows this and knows why.
