Akin has worked closely with Paul Ryan and others to overturn decades of feminist progress, scientific knowledge, and human compassion.

It is no accident that they frame rape as having degrees of gravity. No accident that they are constantly looking for ways to implement their absolutist anti-abortion doctrine.

Forcing a woman to be the incubator for her rapist's child is a POLICY they want to implement as the law of the land. It is not a matter of "choosing the wrong words."

You want to apologize? Then start working to protect American women's right to choose what to do with their bodies, and stop trying to make your warped pseudo-scientific fantasies into law.
