when about 40,000 Americans had died over 7 years before Ronald 'St Ron' Reagan bothered to say the word AIDS out loud. We had one (1) foreign tourist who came here with Ebola die of Ebola and the straights had a frothing panic about it. 40,000 of their neighbors die, they elect Reagan again and wonder why LGBT still don't trust them.
So yeah, I remember. I also compare and contrast to the past and the result is not that charming, really.
