17. While campaigning now in critical NY, my sense is Bernie will do as many media

appearances as possible, even Rose whose style is well known, for the benefit of exposure. Last night you probably saw the super job Jane did with Rachel Maddow, no easy feat! and Bernie later with Seth Meyers on NBC. Seth has been very good with Bernie so far (much better than Colbert!) but even he was a bit more formal I noticed. That Bernie is seen as a very serious candidate now is without a doubt.

Last night both NBC show hosts went right to The Big Story ('disqualified') and Jane and Bernie were excellent. Comes with the turf; I couldn't do it for sure. Hopefully the Sanders will get some downtime soon since they've been conducting a tremendous amount of work with a frantic campaign schedule. During this season Bernie often flies to engagements in three time zones, all in one day!
