Which undermines the argument that Biden's lead is potentially artificially inflated by name recognition. I think there's some merit to that point and I say this because, almost entirely, Sanders seemed to mirror Biden's support. Since Sanders is pretty much as known as Biden, one could reason their leads are largely built out of name recognition (especially since they're ideologically different candidates).

But this Ohio poll is one of the first major polls that breaks from that. Sanders, who's well known, is actually doing worse than Mayor Pete and Harris, and equal to Booker and Warren (the former are tied with Trump, the latter down two). That's a big contrast and elevates the idea that it might not be name recognition that's boosting Biden. If it was, you'd assume Sanders would be doing much better head-to-head.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
