"SNIP.....

The previous two Democratic debates, in June and July, were held over two nights, with 10 candidates on stage each night. Thursday’s debate is the first time we’ll have just one night, with 10 candidates on stage.

To make it, candidates had to get donations from 130,000 people and hit at least 2 percent in at least four polls approved by the Democratic National Committee by Aug. 28. Previously, they had to have 65,000 donors or hit at least 1 percent in three approved polls.

The requirements are the same for the fourth debate, to be held next month in Ohio, so the same candidates will qualify then, too. Billionaire Tom Steyer appears to also have made the stage, getting his last qualifying poll last week. The DNC has not said whether the next debate will be split into two nights.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) has two qualifying polls for the October debate; author Marianne Williamson has one. Candidates have until Oct. 1 to qualify.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
