(13,980 posts)That is precisely why some of us do not want to go ahead and do what the conventional wisdom has been saying for the past 40 years. Do not think that we do not remember how so many people told us that there was no way we would ever vote for a black president, so of course we should of voted for the white woman president. Do not think that we forget that you told us you had everything under control in the year 2016, and yes, we know there was a lot of red ink, but that does not mean that there were not very clear mistakes in judgment in that campaign, especially for those four states that made the "blue wall" came into play and became trumps base, his new bastion of neo-Confederate ideas. Do not go ahead and call us a bunch of people who have no gauge on reality, on the contrary we have been the ones getting hit with it while so many people believe in "conventional wisdom.
