Showing Original Post only (View all)Essence Mag: Elizabeth Warren tops their "racial scorecard." [View all]
https://www.essence.com/news/politics/elizabeth-warren-2020-racial-justice-presidential-candidate-scorecard/Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) is known for more than just having a well-thought-out plan for everything; shes also gained a reputation for meeting Black women at their own tables, allowing them to be her teachers, and listening and evolving as need be.
It makes sense then that Warren scored an A- on the 2020 Racial Justice Presidential Candidate Scorecard, the highest of any candidate in the race. Former Vice President Joe Biden, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), Andrew Yang, are all at the bottom with President Donald Trump with Fs.
The Center for Urban and Racial Equity created the scorecard to center racial justice and to ensure that the concerns of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities are not sidelined. The Racial Justice Presidential Candidate Scorecard summarizes the presidential candidates policy proposals through a racial equity lens across key areas including criminal justice reform, education, health care, voting rights, reparations, environmental justice, immigration, indigenous rights, and policies to close the racial wealth gap, the centers website says.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I agree, I was trying to convey that in another thread about what I liked about the candidates

My apologies, my fingers were typing faster than my brain, I meant Sen Warren. I fixed it.
