of course, they don't have to follow.
But I don't see her rebuffing Sanders. After all, they both have advocated for a wealth tax, and full Medicare for All as important planks in their agendas. If she was serious about that (and I'm never sure whether she's serious or just trying for votes), it would seem she'd have to throw in for Sanders. However, she's toed the Democratic Party line pretty well, so she might well go for Biden. Either way, she's put her own self in a box.
