2. All I can say about proposals like this is that people don't understand how Medicare operates....

A HUGE part of the cost of administering our current Medicare system now is borne by "private insurance" companies, and is handled directly by private insurance companies. It would be virtually impossible to institute any government healthcare insurance system (yes, it's healthcare INSURANCE, not "healthcare" ) without the assistance of the private insurance companies. It's naive to think that a viable system can be put in place with them.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
