2. That was my thought, too - why would Republican candidates run if they get no support from the RNC??

TFG, who has been everything from Republican to Democrat to Independent - and we don't know if he ever even bothered to vote - is turning the Republican party into his private PAC. And it's sure no longer "the party of Lincoln" or even the party of Reagan who was tough on Russia, supported immigration and also actively supported President Clinton's efforts to pass the Assault Weapons Ban.
