http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/3104076.stmSome American presidents are, no doubt, born great. Some achieve greatness. But the majority follow Shakespeare's third way: they have greatness thrust upon them

Condescending and dismissive. Based on the performance in one debate calling Edwards "young, southern and little else." This particular writer should try for a deeper analysis instead of playing around with words.

An assumption based on "THE opposition party" might seem a bit strange.

that Bush is so strong, the Dems will be hard-pressed to find anyone in the US who could even come close to beating the asshole back to the Gitmo cage where he belongs and can clear brush as recreation for the rest of his life.

The worst president we have had in 220 years ... we are at war for reasons that are uncomphensible. this president has no vison or diret plans to help the economy. one blunder after another. i could go on and on but.. And yet they say he is a popular president.. and having to think really hard about who could beat him. Frankly, I don't get it. are we intimated,by all the media cheering him on . or are we lost in a skinner box????

Any headline reading "US Democrats Search for a Candidate Who Can Defeat Bush" really can't be considered as latest breaking news.
