| 19. I think they were free to give out a little information. Don't know if |
|
there are more questions asked, and more information to dribble out. CNN did say they would not call any races until after the polls had closed there.

Nothing like downplaying it, hmmmm? Betcha the REAL numbers are closer to "nearly 8 in 10."

| 8. I've been reading the BBC midterm election message board |
|
and some of the "logic" on the right is stunning. I mean, I really am stunned by it.
One guy said Democrats outnumbered pubbies by 2:1, so he was voting pubbie to avoid one party rule! My gawd, please tell me he's a convenience store clerk or coin collector in a toll booth. Or maybe works in a sheltered workshop.
More are saying they hate the war in Iraq, think the economy is in the toilet, think Stupid is a liar and that they're being robbed blind, but they're voting pubbie because, by gawd, that's where they BELONG.
I'm not posting the link because that much stupidity is just plain depressing. I feel confident that anyone who is curious enough to read the proof of right wing insanity will find it.

| 14. Still not 'cause celebre,' remember gop incumbents in purple areas distanced themselves from Bush. |
|
We must expect it to have worked some, so many who disapprove of Bush/Iraq war may have been conned to vote for GOP candidate on 'local issues.
