I'm not complaining in the least I'm glad that they are handling their resources that way. I also had to drive a ways to get them. I saw an ad in a local paper in my area that the GOP would actually deliver their signs to McSAME supporters. :wow: All you had to do was call them and they bring them out to you. I guess that explains why I see so many McSAME signs. This shows the difference between McSAME supporters and Obama ones...they sit on their lazy butts and get them delivered, they don't care enough to seek them out and get them on their own. :boring: Obama supporters are enthusiastic enough that they will seek them out, drive all over for them and pay for them! :bounce:

12. I live in CT

Here, I've noticed hardly any McCain/Palin bumper stickers on cars on the highway (compared to hundreds, still, of W'04). However, there are lots of Obama '08 stickers... this, to me, is very telling. Someone being moved enough to stick something to their ride. It has never been a question whether CT will cast its vote for Obama but this is a measure that struck me the other day.

1. Mark Salter, McCain's speechwriter, who apparently has nothing more than "Joe the Plumber".
3. Trey Walker, manager of McCain's campaign in the mid-Atlantic. Where McCain is getting his clock cleaned in places like Virginia and Pennsylvania, and North Carolina is favoring Obama if you would consider NC to be a mid-Atlantic state.

6. When you take in so many small donations

you must understand the sacrifice it is from people and spend that money carefully. I have not heard a negative word from his supporters over the money spent on Wednesday night, only from his opponents. Our budget is VERY tight, but I had to get in one more small donation in after the broadcast.

...because it's a sacrifice from people who don't have a ton of it but want to support change - I believe that's at the core of it. I think the Obamas are sensible about money anyway, and Barack, having lived on food stamps at one time and never having had a ton of money or being a privileged person makes a huge difference too. Having someone as President who truely understands how to handle money and make the most of it will be a Godsend, IMO.
