CNNLos Angeles, California (CNN) -- A Los Angeles, California, judge refused Monday to ban Dr. Conrad Murray, charged with involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death, from practicing medicine in the state.
The California medical board had asked the judge to add the prohibition to bail conditions for Murray, who was the pop star's personal physician when he died.
Michael Jackson's parents, Joe and Katherine, sat next to each other on the front row in the small courtroom, along with the pop icon's brothers Jermaine and Randy and sister LaToya Jackson.
"Dr. Murray's the fall guy," Jermaine Jackson said after the hearing. "This is bulls**t."
