Columbia Daily TribuneJEFFERSON CITY — For 20 years, Boone County has been tied politically to northeast Missouri.
Before that, it was the northern end of a congressional district that stretched deep into the Ozarks to the Arkansas line.
That change took place the last time Missouri lost a congressional district, and now the process is happening again. If a map House Redistricting Committee Chairman John Diehl, R-Town and Country, presented last night is adopted, for the next 10 years, Boone County will be the easternmost county of a district that stretches to the Kansas border.

Could this put the district into play if you had enough students voting in Columbia and Warrensburg instead of their home districts (if they vote at all)?
