Pyongyang accused Seoul of "playing the role of a spokesman" for Washington by "harping on the same string with the United States in the robber-like demand" for a complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement of North Korea's nuclear programs.
The warning came from the committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, a powerful state organisation in charge of inter-Korean affairs.
"If the South Korean authorities want to take part in the negotiation as a member of the six-way talks in the future (they must) take the independent stand for achieving peace and reunification of the country, siding with the nation and joining efforts with the compatriots, instead of dancing to the tune of outside forces."
