Investigators say 4 Reps got discounted loans
Source: Yahoo Finance

By LARRY MARGASAK | AP – 6 hrs ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — House investigators have found that four current members of the U.S. House received discounted loans from the former Countrywide Financial Corp.

The chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Republican Rep. Darrell Issa of California, declined to name the members but sent a letter to the House Ethics Committee asking for further investigation.

Issa, in a letter dated Friday and released Monday, said Countrywide used its discount program to build a relationship with public officials and others who could help the company. Countrywide is now owned by Bank of America.

The most favored officials received discounts under a program known as "Friends of Angelo," a program led by former Countrywide CEO Angelo Mozilo. However, Issa said others received discounts through other sections of Countrywide.

4. We need investigations.
Not just of these guys but of the entire government, the financial services industry and war profiteering. That would only scratch the surface.

5. If enough people get united behind Occupy we can force this into reality
through united, focused, imaginative non-violent direct action.

We just need enough people with us to get the job done.

That's all we need. Millions of people united in purpose.

6. You are right.
I see OWS as the only answer we have. With a straight face the politicians claim to represent us. That proves they are lying.
