WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush, who has privately expressed annoyance over Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's handling of the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal, still wants the Pentagon chief to stay in his job, the White House said on Thursday.

Seriously. Regardless of whether a member's actions are illegal, they are completely loyal to one another. Plus, the whole freakin' group has engaged in some form of illegal or notorious act at some point. AND, they share a Machavellian attitude.

They really do make Nixon look like a real sweetheart. It's still difficult for me to believe that they have actually been allowed to go this far. We have GOT to clean house in the world of politics.

8. No post war planning; oversaw office with trumped up intel per prewar;

shortchanged efforts in Afghanistan (where is Osama and Mullah Omar?) and was over this fiasco which further endangers us troops - but never mentioned the problem to Bush - and appears not to have taken serious corrective action (did you catch the Post piece - where the private intel contractors state that they have NEVER been informed about the problem, after the story broke tried to get a copy of the report from the Pentagon but couldn't - and had to get it from the internet... what does this mean? The Pentagon (underrummy) - never took any kind of corrective action per working with the contractors who allegedly had a role in the whole fiasco).

Yep - this is a man to have "confidence in."

If this country ever again elects a "CEO" - will they at least chose one who hasn't run multiple companies into the ground? This, is not surprising from our uninformed, uninterested, unengaged, head in the sand, but deluded with a messianic self-image president.
