| 1. He says the reputation of the show would drown out his message. |

I was trying to dream up some way for announced Democratic candidate Eric Fingerhut to use the Springer rivalry to garner some publicity. Eric should stage a rally done like Jerry's show. Heck, get Jerry to host:
Today's show: "My sister wants to marry a neocon!"

That's a great idea.
It's sort of a shame that Jerry's not running. I have talked to a lot of people that were looking forward to voting for him, not inspite of his show, but because of it. This is probably a wise decision, though.

| 5. He always quits. He doesn't have the kind of drive anymore |

to put up with all the crap to get elected, but he is/was highly qualified. When he bowed out of a good gig in Chicago as news anchor because some bimbo named Carol something (NewsAnchor) said she would quit if Jerry was hired, he bowed out. I gave up on him after that. Maybe he can write some serious literature because he does have a good mind.
