Calgary - Same-sex marriage took the stage Wednesday when candidates for Calgary West took part in a debate at the University of Calgary.
Anders, citing a survey he did, said 82 per cent of those in his riding who responded were in favour of protecting the traditional definition of marriage. And he said the notwithstanding clause could be used.
"I don't think we should be accepting these decrees from non-elected judges, when we have a Parliament that should have supremacy on this," he said.
