Abu Ghraib inmate death probed

THE US military is investigating the death of a man who died this week at Baghdad's notorious Abu Ghraib prison, the US command said today.

The prisoner appeared to have died of natural causes, but an autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death, the military said in a statement.

Detainees told prison guards early Monday that the 42-year-old inmate "appeared to be suffering a medical problem," the statement said. Medics rushed him to a prison hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The man, who was not identified, had been held since May because he was believed to be "an imperative threat for attacks against coalition forces," the military said. He had not been interrogated since his arrival.

2. Last night on Nightline an Iraqi General

was reportedly suffocated to death while in a US prison. There were reports of lies regarding "cause of death". Somewhere around 40 prisoners have died in Iraqi and Afghanistan prisons run by the US, many are suspected of being tortured to death.

What is really sick is that, according to Nightline up to 90% of the people put in prisons in Iraq are innocent!!!

3. DOD investigates itself!

It still baffles me that Congress just goes along with this insanity.
Next we will be hearing that the Govt. is allowing the Mafia and corupt police depts investigate themselves.

What we have here is a Right Wing Dictatorship that contols almost all branches of Govt.,financed by corporations, mainly Multi-corps, aided and abetted by the Mainstream Media and and a weak ineffective minority party (Dem.)that has for the most part given in to the power of the Right Wing for the last 3 years.
