Canada announced it was investigating whether a suspected Israeli fugitive involved in a New Zealand spy ring was using a stolen Canadian passport.

New Zealand suspended high-level contacts with Israel after two suspected members of Israel's Mossad intelligence service were jailed in July for trying to fraudulently obtain New Zealand passports.

A New Zealand court sentenced Uriel Zoshe Kelman and Eli Cara to six months in prison after they pleaded guilty of trying to fraudulently obtain a New Zealand passport.

The two Israeli men had assumed the identity of a wheelchair-bound cerebral palsy victim who lived in their neighbourhood....>>

Now, one shouldn't judge a book by its cover, of course. But Mr. Cara looks a wee bit...touchy, doesn't he? ;-)

3. New Zealand is one of my favorite unsung iconic heroes.

NZ has consistently suffered the consequences of standing up to bullying nuclear powers and the criminals they call spies. Government sponsored French criminals blew up the Rainbow Warrior in Auckland Harbor and killed a young photographer by using a second bomb delayed with the intent to kill. The US was repeatedly caught lying to NZ harbor authorities about the cargo of ships carrying highly radioactive waste that endangered and sickened wharf employees. NZ banned all US nuclear ships, including military ships, and had their currency devalued by half under the bullying hand of US banking influence on world currencies. Thousands of NZ retired elders with plans to go overseas from their little island country had their dreams smashed. Israel has already threatened to disrupt NZ exports with new tariffs in several countries including the US where they own a vast number of politicians.

Good for you New Zealand. Fate willing, I'll be back again and again.
