Pinochet had more US bank accounts: report
Former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet held at least five more secret bank accounts in the United States, in addition to the eight already discovered at Riggs Bank in Washington.
The accounts were opened by the former dictator under his own name and under the names of two of his children, Lucia and Marco Antonio, in four other US banks, including Citibank in Miami, La Tercera newspaper reported Sunday.
The newspaper did not reveal the names of the other banks or the amounts held in the accounts.
The accounts were discovered by the US State Department during its investigation of Pinochet's accounts at Riggs Bank.
