in the Italian press where I go for current and factual coverage. I used to argue with an Italian friend that our press was free. It is very strange that with some of the most savage fighting of the war going on in Najaf, no fatalities have been reported there in five days. Who remembers the prime-time embedded coverage back when this war was a cake walk? Expect even more sanitized coverage during the Republican convention
