Kerry should bitch slap * with this. Something to the effect of "now the president has decided to cut a deal with a government his state department lists as supporting terrorism.

Syria shares a border with Iraq that's over 600 miles. Most of it is rocky terrain, in the middle of the desert. Some parts are so isolated that there are no roads.
So BeelzeBush wants Syria to seal this border? How are they going to do that? Set up airport security screening sites?
Syria is just paying lip service to the Dark Side. They know that in less than 6 weeks, they could be talking to a new Boss Man.

We have a winner! Yes, we demand people to do what we can't even come close to doing with our own borders.
The PNAC has been itching to torch Syria since long before its inception, and we're just using the tried-and-true (okay, tried-and-lied) technique of "being understanding" as a prelude to our "losing our patience".
Unlike our other incursion candidates, this one borders a country with a very capable military that's just champing at the bit to help us "make things right".
We'll show 'em yet.
Can we get any worse?
Oh yes. Yes we can.

from the article- "...These steps are designed to close Syria's border to individuals seeking to foment violence and destabilize Iraq."

This will be the border that the US (sorry, "coalition") forces could not secure in order to prevent all of those "foreign fanatical fighters" from sneaking into Iraq from those terr'ist-lovin' Syrians?
Thought so.
