Kerry: Cheney Should Admit Iraq Mistakes
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041005/ap_on_el_pr/kerry&cid=694&ncid=1480

<snip>
"I hope tonight Mr. Cheney can acknowledge those mistakes," the Democratic presidential candidate said. "I hope Mr. Cheney can take responsibility."

Cheney will face Kerry's running mate, North Carolina Sen. John Edwards (news - web sites), in the only vice presidential debate Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Kerry said there was a "long list of mistakes" that the Bush administration had made in Iraq.

"I'm glad that Paul Bremer has finally admitted at least two of them, and the president of the United States needs to tell the truth to the American people," Kerry said.

The United States did not have enough troops in Iraq after ousting Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), failed to stop widespread looting and "paid a big price for not stopping it because it established an atmosphere of lawlessness," Bremer said Monday in an address to an insurance group in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

1. It was a one-two punch today, Bremer & Rumsfeld
Both "misspoke" about major mistakes.

2. Now let's take a look at that word CONSTITUTIONALLY
(The Massachusetts senator said the question was whether the president was "constitutionally incapable of acknowledging the truth" or "just so stubborn.")

Now does constitutionally mean he's referring to US Constitution OR is he saying that Bush is incapable of telling the truth because of some mental derangement?

:bounce:

This is another word similar to "global". Kerry, we and other smart Dems know what it means, but not Bush.

Choose among these definitions from Dictionary.com

Of or relating to a constitution: a constitutional amendment.
Consistent with, sanctioned by, or permissible according to a constitution: a law that was declared constitutional by the court; the constitutional right of free speech.

Established by or operating under a constitution: a constitutional government.

Of or proceeding from the basic structure or nature of a person or thing; inherent: a constitutional inability to tell the truth.
Of or relating to one's physical makeup.

I think it's the last one! What do you guys think?
