Dover woman sues Ted Nugent for child support, custody

DOVER — A local woman says Ted Nugent fathered her 8-year-old son and she’s suing the 1970s rock star for child support and legal custody.

Karen Gutowski, 42, of 74 Pollyann Trailer Park, has filed petitions in Strafford County Superior Court against Theodore Nugent of 8000 Eckert St. in Concord, Mich., according to court documents.

Her lawyer, Jeffrey A. Runge, says Nugent acknowledges the child is his and has paid "minimal" child support since the boy was born in 1995.

"He has had zero involvement in the child’s life," Runge said. "He’s never met the child."

Attempts to reach Nugent for comment were unsuccessful. A message left with a woman who identified herself as his assistant was not returned.............
