Private tuition: does a fatter wallet mean a higher grade?
As the school year progresses, anticipation of graduating and entering a post-secondary institution continues to build for many senior high school students.
While it would be great to think that everyone will graduate and move on to the next level of education, that notion, unfortunately, is unrealistic - post-secondary institutions have limited space available and base many of their admission requirements on academic marks.
So how do some students choose to cope with the demanding requirements?
Many either hire a private tutor or enrol in expensive private tuition courses, thereby instilling a sense of confidence in the "superior" educational supplement they expect to receive.
