I've bench-pressed 1,000,000 (that's one million) pounds.
It took me 10 years, but hey that makes me look pretty powerful.

Seriously though, we should be glad every time this man shows up with a microphone pushed in front of his face. Every time Robberson opens his mouth, he tarnishes the reputation of the fundamentalists just a little bit more.
Pat "Phatwa" is the 'Bad Child' of the evangelical movement. Like a family that's severely dysfunctional, one of the children often become troublemakers; they will blurt out the strangest things at dinner parties, take the family hamster and dangle it in front of the dinner guests, or pour some punch over his head. The child is acting out. It's a cry for help.
Pat needs help.

Agreed.
But my favorite dysfunctional-child story is the scene in Tom Wolfe's Bonfire of the Vanities where they're hosting some important dignitaries and the little kid comes in wheeling her little red wagon -- with a freshly-laid turd pile steaming in the middle of it.
That's Pat.
