However, there was another man in the group who knew exactly what to do.

This man reverently took the soldier's stump of a hand in both of his hands, bowed at the bedside, and prayed for him.

When he finished the prayer he stood up, bent over the soldier, kissed him on the head, and told him that he loved him.

Sgt. Tilley was awed by the powerful expression of love for one of our wounded heroes he was witnessing!

“What a beautiful Christ-like example!” he thought, moved to tears.

What kind of a man would do such a thing?

It was the wounded man's commander in chief - George W. Bush, president of the United States.

Edited to add: I have removed as much of the article as I possibly can and still present it in a way that is coherent. Since the author of the article obviously can't tell the difference between a sentence and a paragraph break it is difficult to edit at all. If this is not enough then the mod is free to delete this thread because trimming it down further will leave nothing left that makes sense.

Since the editor/author apparently doesn't know the difference between a sentence and a paragraph, ie, he has written each sentence is its own paragraph. I won't be able to print enough of the article to make any sense whasoever. Oh well...

4. I don't believe this story, it is another lie.

The facts don't jibe. Where were the SS agents? The SS would never have allowed bushes in there without protection.

What was Wheelersburg resident and longtime appliance business owner Mike Bennett doing in there when our crazy king george was in there? I know the appliance business is doing well but it certainly isn't doing well enough to buy a tour with the king of the United States and the SS would have cleared out any by-standers.

So were they fighting over holding the man's stump? It seems to me his stump would have been pretty sore from its recent loss. It seems strange that so many people would have been holding the poor man's stump.

This story does not pass the smell test. Just another lie from a right wing christian in order to glorify king george.

I had to add another inconstancy with the story. Why did longtime appliance business owner Mike Bennett shake the man's hand before king george? The king always goes first.

6. Sounds like pure, unadulterated BS. The only part of

that story that sounds like it has an ounce of credibility is the part about kissing the guy's head. If he was bald, that much could have happened since chimp has a bald guy fetish. All the rest of it is a freeper fairy tale.

And if some wingnut repeated it to me, I'd have just one question: When did Jesus send people to wage an unprovoked war based on a bunch of lies and to return possibly dead or with horrible physical or psychological wounds? Doesn't sound very Christian to me.
