http://www.buzzflash.com/articles/smith/198I beg to differ with Pelosi, and so does a nation of people. What kind of nation do we have when so much crime and so much murder, destruction goes unaccountable? Oh, he's worth it all right, but the blame will be with Pelosi, Reid and the other Democrats in leadership. We, as a nation, can't jail people for protesting, for wearing peace shirts, for stealing a purse, etc. when we have a country of people who know and understand the law better than the average person, and they also know that there would be two standards. One for the working people and one for the elite in this society ... how can we as a democratic nation allow people to be sent to invade another country, lose their life, and say that impeaching Bush is not worth it?
Yes, one life spent for Bush is worth it. How would she feel if any of those people were hers, that Bush still wasn't worth it? Democracy and the belief in it is worth it. The million dead in Iraq is worth it. The dead in New Orleans is worth it. The highest debt ever in this country's history is worth it.
The very reason that Pelosi states for not impeaching this criminal administration is the very reason they will probably lose the White House. Winning the White House by default is not a win, and even if by some miracle they win the White House, it's very possible that they will lose seats in Congress because the American public thinks they are weak, and they are weak.
Pelosi on Bush: “He’s not worth impeaching” « Scholars and Rogues
The truth hurts, but I have to wonder who is giving advice to Pelosi. I also have to wonder if this party has been infiltrated, it seems that the advisors would be the place to look. The DLC does not have a winning record for over ten years. My god. I think Pelosi should listen to the people, she had a mandate. And, she is playing right into the Bush GOP's political hands by aiding and abetting these criminals.
