Could the Senator Ensign adultry case contain sexual harrassment and retaliation charges? Some of the reporting on the case is pointing that direction, though the mainstream media is not using those terms. No Republican is going to publicly admit to an affair and then resign leadership positions just out of guilt. There was always more to the story than we are getting, but harrassment would make sense. If the woman accused him of it, threatened him with a suit, or even filled suit or charges, that would explain why he came forward.
