Bullies Are All Around Us, From Churches to Halls of Congress

Bullying has been in the news a lot lately, with gay and lesbian teens often being among its targets. Their unspoken mantra: "You're different than we are. Conform, or else!" It can just as easily be aimed at people who are deemed too shy, too heavy, too quiet, the wrong color, the wrong religion or from the wrong side of the tracks.

It would be nice to say to the bullies: "You're the ones who are different. The rest of us are civilized. You conform, or else!"

Unfortunately, I'm just not sure that's accurate. Bullying is so pervasive in our culture that it's almost expected. Many people even view it as a "rite of passage" for teens and a tool to help them become better socialized. That's like blocking a doorway with a gigantic stone and proudly declaring that you've made it easier for someone to enter the room. Bullies don't help people socialize, they isolate them.

And they do so by placing them in no-win situations.

The study concluded that bullying is in fact a form of "social combat" through which people fight for status. The higher one climbs on the social ladder, the more likely one is to be a target, the study found. This makes sense in light of the bully's driving motivation: insecurity. If a bully can knock someone off his pedestal, he can gain the prestige that comes with being the new "king of the mountain."

This reminded me of something I saw in high school. This pretty and popular blond cheerleader was being picked on and bullied by this loser kid. I remember thinking how stupid this fool was. Well all she had to do was tell her football player friends (all of whom wanted to get into her pants), and they were practically competing with one another over who would get to kick the bully's ass first.

Needless to say, this bully never bothered this girl again. I remember he came to school all bruised up one day. After that he kept his mouth shut for the rest of the year.

2. Bullying takes a lot of forms..

Some of it is indeed "social combat" between popular individuals/groups but there is quite a bit that's just aimed at those who it is thought won't fight back.

3. Bullying Does Take a Lot of Forms.

"Adult bullying" is rampant in America today.

It's different from "school-yard" bullying, but, like school-yard bullying, adult bullying is often aimed at "those who it is thought won't fight back"

Also, like other types of bullying, the victims of adult bullying are often referred to as "targets" or "targeted individuals"

I'm talking about organized stalking, which is often referred to as adult bullying.

The hired thugs who engage in organized stalking are basically cowards, like bullies are.

They flee as soon as a video camera is aimed at them, like cockroaches running away when a light is turned on.

They do not like it when their "targets" are able to get their license numbers, either.

They are terrorists, pure and simple.

Their goal is to terrorize their victims, using the methods outlined above in the Urban Dictionary definition of organized stalking.

While many victims of organized stalking are whistle-blowers, anti-war activists, or others the government or big corporations don't like; many seem to be chosen merely because they are "easy targets".

When victims of organized stalking turn to the police for help; they are often ridiculed, and told that they are being paranoid, because "a group of strangers would never do that".

Well, groups of strangers ARE doing that, and there are many, many victims of tis type of stalking.

In a 2009 Department of Justice Special Report "Stalking Victimization in the United
States" (Pub # NCJ 224527), DOJ estimated the number of stalking victims who reported multiple stalkers during the 12 month study period to be in excess of 180,000.

Freedom Of Information Act documents show that the 180,000 figure is artificially low
and that the actual number of stalking victims reporting multiple stalkers during the 12 month study period is probably in excess of 600,000, or more than three times the DOJ figure.

Why would the Justice Department not want the American people to know the true extent of this type of stalking?

Perhaps because the Justice Department itself is involved in some way?

That would explain why DOJ has never prosecuted a multiple stalker case.

That would also explain why the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) "does not provide direct assistance to victims of multi-stalker incidents"

OVC is part of DOJ.

Could it be that the many stories told by former FBI agents about the Cointelpro program still operating are true?

Could organized stalking be run and financed by certain intelligence agencies?

Could it be that the terrorizing of 600,000 innocent Americans every year is being financed by the American taxpayer?

Organized stalking is adult bullying.

Organized stalking is organized crime.

The criminals who engage in this type of stalking do so with impunity, knowing that the police will do nothing to stop them.

The media ignores them.

The U.S. Justice Department ignores them.

Local police ignore them.

They are victims of bullying; and they're being stalked, harassed and terrorized by bullies every single day, 24/7; and no one cares!

DOJ doesn't reply to calls, letters and e-mails sent by victims of organized stalking; and calls, letters and e-mails to the White House on the subject also go unanswered.
