Occupy DOJ mailbox – Demand Waukesha Investigation
Some are not satisfied with GAB Kennedy or Attorney Verhoff’s preliminary report that Kathy Nicholas "likely" violated state law.... And that's because there are still questions that they should be further investigated.....

Some believed that there was an audit on Kathy's computers. But because Kathy was not concerned about the security of a laptop that was connected to Canvass Reporting System Network no computer audit was conducted...

There is a refrence to the GAB site where the report to this investigation is suppose to be, but it is missing...

"The laptop on which Ms. Nickolaus stores the spreadsheets/templates and the Access 2007 database was not one of the computers that were the subject the audit. Ms.Nickolaus indicated she did not have security concerns with this laptop because it is used to gather unofficial results in an election. She also stated the laptop must be on the network to send the data to the Canvass Reporting System."

"The report expects us to “be satisfied” that a conspiracy of individuals to engage in election fraud in Wisconsin, here, in the midst of this heightened atmosphere of sharp partisan politics where millions of dollars were poured into the recent recall elections from private interest groups – is unlikely?"

"The major determinations of the investigation report use words “appears likely” and “appears Kathy Nickolau violated state law”. We are expected to be “satisfied” with this “kind of- sort of- maybe” language? The use of this uncertain language suggests the determinations are questionable. If the preliminary investigation is riddled with questions, then obvious action would be to appoint a special prosecutor armed with the judicial powers to examine evidence, bring the matter to trial, and reach a verdict."

"The Occupy Wall Street movement is a great public outcry of economic injustice in this country. Yet, if the new energy of the evolving movement abadons the steps of the past in the dust, then activists are only chasing their tails. Activists have worked and organized to develop and document real evidence of election fraud in the Spring Supreme Court Election. Unless this evidence is presented, and further investigated by the Justice Department, it will be lost with the result of leaving us to begin all over again with the next time, the next election, the next instance of “found vote”.

Naturally Waukesh will be the last county to turn in her human error vote totals...

4. K&R
Show no mercy to Nickolaus and her so-called "incompetence" -- she is working for Prosser/Walker.

5. I want an investigation of the 2004 and 2006 elections, too.
As Brad Freedman wrote:

...evidence suggesting 20,000 more votes than "ballots cast" were tallied by Nickolaus in the county's 2006 general election, and a remarkable 97.63% voter turnout there in the 2004 Presidential election...."

6. I've started to collect these types of articles... Thanks for

giving me another one with additional links... Here is what has been a point that makes me wonder why so many people don't drop a jaw and improve this... "her practice of keeping election results only on a circa 1995 personal computer in her office; using the same user ID and password for all of the employees allowed to access it;and refusing to release city-by-city, much less ward-by-ward election results on Election Night. (The latter is one of the reasons the "missing" 14,000+ votes weren't noticed by anyone in the media or citizenry earlier."

7.  Nickolaus' explanation for her "human error" are questionable at best.
Those results were independently reported - if not by Nickolaus - by both the City of Brookfield and a local reporter on election night. They are not, in fact, "new" after all. Whether they should be trusted as accurate, however, is another matter all together.

It's true that the newly corrected (and still unverified) totals from Waukesha place the current margin between Justice David Prosser - who has indicated fealty to Walker and the state GOP's agenda - and his independent challenger, Asst. Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg, are miraculously close to the numbers that will be needed to trigger a state-sponsored "recount" of the ballots. It is also true that Nickolaus' explanation for her "human error" are questionable at best. Her reasons for waiting some 29 hours between discovering the enormous error, as well as her blame on failing to hit a "save button" in Microsoft Access (which doesn't feature such a button) demand independent scrutiny from state, if not federal, authorities.http://www.truthout.com/waukesha-wi-follies-9763-percent-turnout-2004-20000-more-votes-ballots-cast-2006/1302764400?q=all-wisconsin-votes-unverified
