Herman Cain is the latest Republican to jump on the bandwagon - if you can call it a bandwagon - of candidates who want to do away with Social Security.
Republican candidates these days seem to be living in glass houses. And, increasingly, they're throwing stones. This can be a dangerous business when you live inside a glass house, especially when you refuse to look at what's on the other side of the glass - in this case, the general election. But it's still primary season, and the candidates seem oblivious to the consequences of hurling these projectiles.
And not just at one another.
Indeed, an increasingly popular target appears to be Social Security, which is also on the other side of the glass. Rick Perry likened it to a "Ponzi scheme," and Herman Cain is the latest to weigh in on the supposed evils of this system.
