when I was on unemployment. ATMs only let you draw money in increments of $20 (you'll never be able to withdraw all of your money) and the state didn't let me have the option of having the pre-paid debit card go through my credit union, so I went for the direct deposit into my savings account. Of course, one must have an account to get money deposited into and I would imagine that there a great many unemployed and poor people who don't have one (creditors can't seize what isn't there). ATM fees for accessing one's own money from one's own account at one's own financial institution is insane. That's why I've been a member of a credit union for 23 years now.

| 2. Talked to one of my credit union reps today |

on a refi matter, and she told me the worst bank she's experienced is Chase. She said they delay and delay on mortgage processing and that it's almost always inexcusable. And naturally, ends up working against the customer.
