TPM: how the forged "Nigeria uranium" docs were funneled to the CIA

(Comment by me - nv1962) I'm posting this article from the Talking Points Memo, where Joshua M Marshall explains with great detail how he and fellow investigative journalists pieced together the flow of the forged documents that supposedly tied Nigeria to a uranium sale to Iraq. Apparently, it's an operation that has the SISMI (Italian intel agency) as the conduit - it looks as if they deliberately passed those forgeries on, with what looks like the foresight that they'd end up in the CIA's hands. But there's more ahead... Josh Marshall announces that he expects the 'big' story to be published by the end of this month (August) and that it will reveal stuff that's going to be quite a stir in DC; earlier he referred to a 'tectonic shift.' Now here's my purely speculative idea: I have a sneaking suspicion that the driving source behind SISMI in turn may very well be located in the US: either the CIA or the PNAC affiliate in the Pentagon, the P2OG. Let's see what comes out in the end... This certainly looks like a 'big one' in the making - let's keep an eye on TPM.
