Yee's loyalty to the U.S. remains questionable

Your persistent effort to make Capt. James Yee a modern-day Dreyfus falls short of the mark.

... Capt. Yee's career was not ruined by the military. He managed to do it very well by himself. An appointment to West Point is a privilege not to be taken lightly. Those chosen few are there to study and prepare to take their places as officers: to acquire the knowledge to lead men into battle, to support the government of the United States and to give their total loyalty to it. When Yee resigned his commission the first time to take himself off to Syria (an unfriendly nation) to study Islam for a year, take a foreign bride and then return to the Army, not to expect trouble was simple-minded. (The Army was foolish to accept him back.)

There are some questions that should be asked of Capt. Yee. To whom are you loyal? To the U.S. government or to worldwide Islam? Have your actions in any way been detrimental to your country in action of war? Yee seems to be a local hero to the resident Muslims, but to many others, he smacks of being a traitor.
