Ohio Faith Leaders to Hold Prayer Breakfast in Support of Smoke-Free Workplace Laws
Faith Leaders, Public Officials and Health Advocates to Thank Columbus City Council for Passing Smoke-free Workplace Ordinance, Call on Surrounding Communities to Follow Suit

Dozens of Ohio faith leaders, public officials and tobacco prevention advocates will hold a prayer breakfast at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus to thank Columbus City Council members for passing a smoke-free air ordinance that covers all workplaces, including restaurants and bars. Leaders and advocates will encourage communities in Columbus' suburbs to follow their lead and take action to pass smoke-free ordinances that protect everyone's right to breathe clean air.
